The fight will reset if there's no player on the platform in phase 1.

So the achievement can still be soloed by collecting/throwing the Spears of Duty during the wind phases – just make sure the spears (blue circles) are already available (in my case I used 3 in first and 2 in second wind phase).

This will prevent the fight from being reset.

The spears are dropped from the 5 groups of 2 angels fighting each other in the air above the boss arena. Each time one of the pairs dies, they will leave a spear in the air behind them.

I only suggest doing 2-3 spears per phase just for healing, as [spell=322817] can stack and get pretty ouchie if you stay in the "wind phase" for too long. You need to be careful not to phase the boss until 2-3 spears are available for you to use. The boss phases at either 70% health or after 3 casts of [spell=334625], so tell your pumpers to hold their DPS and just hop in circles for a while.

Once you have your 2-3 spears in the air and the boss has phased, send one of your party members over the edge to get their wings, then have them pick up a spear. The throwing UI is just like the spear on the ground on the platform. I highly suggest that you wait until just after the boss moves to throw the spear. If you miss, you have to wipe and then do the fight over again.

Once your party member has thrown one spear, they'll have to fall back to the platform and yeet themselves off the edge again. If you can, catch them with a slow fall or levitate, or have them be a DH with glide or a druid with flap, or just be ready to give them some extra healing from fall damage. As of right now, THE SAME PERSON NEEDS TO BE THE ONE TO THROW ALL THE SPEARS IN THE AIR.

Once you've thrown your 2-3 spears from the sky, phase the boss out of the wind phase and do your casual damage until the last 2-3 spears are waiting for you in the sky. Then, repeat the steps already listed above.

TLDR: Don't phase the boss too fast. Allow 2-3 spears to gather in the sky before each phase. Don't miss your throw. Only have one person throw the sky spears.

Moderately Difficult Hunter or Pet-class Solo for Level 70 Dragonflight & Beyond...

1) Mythic Difficulty.

A note: The spears of duty you have to hit the boss with for achievement is in the air, not the Archons Spear surrounding by the blue field on the platform, that is just used to bring boss down after the two orb phases.

2) Achievement can be tracked but will likely be incorrect at 4/5 despite 5 spears hitting confidently, and still show a red color.

3) Misdirect to Pet, attack boss.

4) Tell Pet to stay.

5) Jump down over the edge, and grab a spear. Boss will stay on pet for now and won't vanish and reset.

6) There may be more than one spear to grab, when the boss gets aggro on you again, tell your pet to attack the boss, and then feign death, aggro is then back on the pet, jump on down and grab another spear.

7) At 75% boss moves into next phase, which you are free to jump down and grab a spear or two without boss phasing away.

8) When aiming spears at boss, make sure you wait for her to move, then launch the spear, and if you KNOW that you hit the center of boss despite no damage numbers showing, you still have a hit. This happened to me once.

9) Proceed with fight as normal, grab orbs and launch Archon Spear at her to get her back on the ground.

10) Reduce boss health to 25%

11) Next phase begins, rinse & repeat, you are free to jump on down and it will lift you up and you can grab another spear or two.

12) Confidently hit the boss each time until you are sure you have hit her 5 times with the spear.

13) The achievement may not be satisfied, and clicking on the boss may reveal only 4/5 spears have it. However if you are CONFIDENT you hit her with 5 spears despite one spear not showing damage, nuke boss. If not, feign death and repeat.
