Easiest way I've found to make it through at gold pace was to optimize as much of the beginning as possible. At the very start, be sure to aim slightly up instead of looking straight at the first ring. Use two boosts then use skyward ascent and as you crest the lifeshrine slowly aim downwards to maintain your momentum. It can take a few tries to get it right, but if you can make it to the right turn after going over the lifeshrine without feeling like you need a boost, that's how you'll know you've got it. Space out all your boosts until the last 6 rings then spam boost to the finish line.
