Un'Goro Crater Circuit Advanced: Gold

So I didn't even manage to get Silver by one second and then changed my tactic to this (use velocidrake!):

At the start surge forward 3 times immediately after one another, glide for 1 or 2 seconds, surge a fourth time. Then glide all the way down to the ring at the bottom shortly after the stone pillars. when flying through the ring you should have almost all orbs full. Now start speeding up until you reach that glowing speed. After that you surge exactly every time the Velo-drake's animation completely spreads its wings to the side. You should have exactly enough stamina until the end without ever dropping the speed. Good luck, hope this helps.

Managed to do it in 87 seconds by doing the following:
Surge forward twice at the beginning, then hold it until you reach the ring at the bottom, afterwards it's a spam of Surge, with the occasional Ascent when the height difference is too big.

This worked for me! Particularly using the drake's animations as a guide when to boost.
