Viridescent Venture Challenge: Gold

This was the most difficult race out of all the Emerald Dream courses for me. Here's what worked:

•Surge forward twice. You need to get fast enough to start your vigor generation.
•Glide until just past the ring before the waterfall then Skyward Ascent. (I tried to get as close to waterfall as I could).
•Go through 2 rings, then Surge Forward when you bank left, then immediately Skyward ascent. This should give you enough speed to go through the log.
•Once through the Log you have 2 Surge Forwards to use to get you around the big tree.
•Glide for a bit, then you'll have enough vigor to Skyward Ascent one last time on the ring that is a little above the others.
•Now you just glide your way down the river. Don't use any charges.
•Once you hit the bottom Skyward Ascent up, then Surge Forward under the bridge.
•Glide for a bit then Surge Forward twice up the hill. (I tried Skyward Ascent here and kept getting caught on things but maybe you'll have better luck with it).
•Glide through the right turn on the water, then you have one Surge Forward to use over the water. Now you'll glide till the waterfall.
•Skyward Ascent up the waterfall, then Surge Forward once.
•Next part is the hardest of the whole race. You'll want to Surge Forward through the Log. It's so east to get caught on stuff here, but you'll lose speed if you don't.
•Once through, Surge Forward down, then you'll just have enough vigor to Skyward Ascent up through the rings. (Sometimes I didn't have enough vigor to get off the Skyward Ascent, so keep an eye on your Vigor. If you can't get off the Surge Forward then play it safe and don't, but depending on how fast you were you might not time).
•Congrats, you've done it! (Hopefully).

This course is particularly difficult compared to other Emerald Dream ones, although I personally found the Reverse course harder.
The only tips I can think to give for this particular one are:

• Use one of the smaller drakes, like Winding Slitherdrake.
• 
  
• I used surge forward for straight areas and skyward ascent to gain height, even for smaller rises.
• 
  
• This course has a lot of obstacles, and if you bump into one and lose speed there's not really any way to recover since Challenge races have no green vigor orbs.
• 
  
• Try to keep to the centre of the tunnels through trees, if you fly too high you might clip roots sticking out the top, and if you fly too low you might accidentally land.
