this enchant will actually help you... while your mining is around lvl 225 and your mithril is already green.. grab this enchant and start mining dark iron and truesilver....

lol, this enchant dropped for me twice, when questing from 2 successive kills, at the Dun Modr encampment.

Decided to farm this to add to my collection. There are 3 camps of mobs that can drop it. On my third trip thru the camps it dropped for me.

I may be stupid. But I can't find the friggin' iron dwarfs anywhere! I can find the trappers, but I'm after the mining-enchant. And according to, well everything, they don't drop it. Can anyone give me a hint. Have been all round wetlands:-(

This formula is unobtainable outside of the AH since cata hit.

Right there with you - most likely a random zone drop now. If anyone doesn find this chant - please list where and what mob - people are still looking for it.

I am posting this to remind everyone to not give up on AH searching. I have been grinding and searching for this formula long before Cataclysm came along. Since the dark iron dwarves are gone from the Wetlands, I kinda gave up on it. Yesterday, I found someone selling TWO of these for 10G each! Unfortunately, I was too excited to take note of the person's name. I wanted to mail that person and ask them if they could remember which mob dropped the formula.

This is one of the very few enchantments I am missing. I too contacted a GM this very evening and this is what he had to say: GM Tipransh: I've taken a look into this, but I'm afraid I haven't been able to find any creature currently in game that drops that Formula :( GM Tipransh: I guess it's possible it'll be reintroduced again, but I don't know if there are any plans for that. So currently this formula is unavailable in Cataclysm. And I have taken a screenshot of the conversation should anyone wish to challenge the authenticity of what I have just posted. Bang goes my grand plans to collect every enchantment in game. Bilharzia (Sunstrider EU PvP Server).

I too am working on getting all the enchanting and tailoring patterns in the game. :( thanks for the info.

Any luck or are we still assuming that this is no longer in game? I have seen dozens of them listed across various realms' AHs, so either a lot were stashed or this still has a source.

It's definitely not in the game right now and it is very sad because Blizzard reintroduced http://www.wowhead.com/item=71714 last patch and forgot about this one and Advanced Herbalism. :(

Someone has a bunch of these listed on Area 52 realm, no idea how he got hold of all 24+ formulas.

Definitely still dropping in the game. My wife just got one just now, and her gasp was priceless. She was disappointed when she learned that it wasn't available.

If only you'd said what mob it dropped off.

Brief and To-The-Point: For those of you who don't have all day to wade through posts, here it is: The Dark Iron Dwarves who used to drop this aren't around to drop this any more. If you go to the coordinates where it used to drop, you'll find a bunch of fire elementals, but no dwarves. So, unless you're fortunate enough to stumble across one in the AH, you're not going to find it.

I must say i was incredibly lucky today. I was checking AH as always, when I found this recipe on for[b] 20 silver.[/b] I sent a message to the seller, so I will post any info on where to get it if he replys and knows where he found it.

Just paid 5k for this today which considering it no longer drops I am happy with.

Just paid 9.5K, so I hope I don't hear that Bliz has quietly put the recipe back in with a generous drop rate...

And to think you could have gotten it for 30 silver (from the Dark Iron Entrepreneur in Arathi Highlands) had you hung in there a little longer. Still, you had it early. Hope it was worth it!

I can now confirm, this item is now sold by the [npc=3180] in Arathi Highlands for 30 silver.

Uhh, so this guy came out of NO WHERE and began selling a recipe that has long since been removed out of the game? What the HELL? So Blizzard takes away my ability to learn Recipe: Thistle Tea but then adds this one in out of no where?

First: The Dark Iron Entrepreneur is located under the tent across the wooden bridge. Second: if he is not there, see if Zidormi is present near bridge. If so, ask her to show you Arathi before the war broke out. Now check to see if he the entrepreneur is present. He should have the recipe, but if he doesn’t just log out and come back later.
