No ~ Slow MH (1.8) and Fast OH (1.4) as Assassination Rogue, since the proc rate from Instant Poison goes up as the delay on a weapon goes up, which is why Instant Poison is on MH, and Deadly Poison on the OH has a fixed proc rate of 30% which means a faster weapon will ensure more Deadly Poison procs. 1.8 /// 1.4 if you are trying to maximize your DPS. 1.8/1.8 is still not a viable option for top-tier DPS.

The extra charge on the orbs is padding for other weapons that may not end up selling. It's also a lazy charge for people who want the convenience of buying on the AH instead of dealing with the person themselves and getting a better deal.

No, you would be much better off with a dagger like [item=57927]. Very cheap to get also, and much better for an assasination rogue. Unzero explains it why very well above.

Is it worth buying at 16K? first one I've seen on the AH since the plans became available and its better than the dagger I currently have

8 Truegold on my realm is 6600g
2 rubies are 275g
3 Hardened bars 360g

7235g so that means the guy selling this is charging 1753g per orb....

I'm thinking its more worth 8-9K? but then again I need him more than he needs me as he has orbs

No sane rogue will be buying these as of 4.3, as the first-stage legendary daggers are better for every spec and easier and cheaper to obtain.

Don't spend the AH cash! My boyfriend had two made for me (had mats but not orbs of course) and it cost him 3.5k for two of these. Take the extra day or two and collect the mats..save yourself the gold!

I bought mats for 2 brainsplinters from AH, they cost totally 4000g. So it's WAY more cheaper to get two of these than gear up for DS, and hope you find kind enough raid group that let's me pickpocket those, especially when you are focusing only PvP

Solid upgrade from [item=69621]. No wasted stats, like expertise or crit. I made one for my Assassination rogue and it is awesome. The mat cost is high, but well worth it....

That is, until Brewfest gets here in a few months....

Although I am not a rogue expert, I can say that this weapon has very good stats for a rogue. Don't buy it from the AH, buy the mats and find a BS who can craft it. On my realm I bought 8 truegold for 3200g, others are negligible, and paid BS 1300 g for orbs. It cost less than 5000g and I think it worths.

Well, i just hit lvl 85 and i have 2 bad wepeons but the Bloodthirsty set from LW. as i am pvp, would it be smart using 2 of these daggers? Assasanation. I can afford it so, idk
