Snowfeather Team Up

You simply need to have the hatchling summoned in the world when the quest is complete. You do not have to use the hatchling in the fight. If you do use it in the fight and it dies it is no longer summoned in the world and you will not get credit.

Just wanted to clarify something for this quest: for a pet battle to count for this, the specific pet must be summoned as a non-combat pet before starting it. Also, the pet must be present during battle itself, and it must survive it. Otherwise you won't get credit for the quest.

Changed my lineup and forgot my addon changes my summoned pet. Started battle and killed 1 pet then my SPIDER SENSES started tingling. I was able to open my pet menu and summon my falcosaur pet during the battle resulting in receiving credit for completing the WQ pet battle.
1. Pet must be summoned
2. Win

Edit: For inquiring minds. It seems that the addon causing my troubles was Rematch
It seems i was able to fix my problem by opening the pet journal and at the bottom right(unless you changed from the default) rematch has options. Under misc options you can check KEEP COMPANION and it will resummon the pet you had out before switching your pets around.
