TheWoWDBIt seems that this debuff goes away after the daily reset; this was what happened to me, anyway (thank you, DerpWolf!)

I was disappointed to find debuff still being at tier 5 after coming back to game the next day, but decided to try to nab a couple lost souls I needed for quest anyway and risk it. I died to the tier 5 debuff, "Immediate Extermination (DOT)", and my eye of the jailer tiers were reset! So not ideal, but DEATH by the hand of the jailer may be a way to reset this. I'll post back if I can 100% confirm, but maybe someone else wants to test this (near the safe zone, so you can get your stygia back easily ; )
