TheWoWDBSo, yes, for whatever reason this quest isn't actually completeable while in a raid group. You know, the raid group you spent months building the thing with, who will still be excited and want to watch the ceremony with you... in raid! But it's not possible. You must leave the raid group you finsihed it in before boarding the Dragon Disk to watch the ceremony. If you do not, you will go through the entire ceremony without actually getting credit for witnessing it.
Now, it is perfectly safe to abandon the quest, pick it up again from [npc=53466], and re-do it. Just make sure you are not in a raid group the next time! Your local Trade chat denizens will probably complain they have to watch it again but face it they'll compalin about anything.
