Reading these numbers

At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Contract: Champions of Azeroth cost 84 gold82 silver. Most of that is Crimson Ink - 8 at 9 gold87 silver each, 78 gold96 silver, 93.1% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.

Break-even is 89 gold28 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 1 gold15 silver, which does not clear it.

The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −83 gold67 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 5 silver75 copper of a sale, so a craft loses 83 gold72 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -98.7% return on the gold you put into reagents.

Listing depth right now: 1,105 units across 49 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.

Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
