Where the reagents come from
Light Parchment. No recipe, Blizzard quest reward or dungeon journal drop in our game data produces it. Also a required reagent in 307 other recipes (296 Inscription, 8 Enchanting and 3 Engineering); Codex of the Clear Mind takes the most, 200 per craft.
Ultramarine Ink. Made with Ultramarine Ink (Inscription, Kul Tiran Inscription) from 1
Distilled Water and 1
Ultramarine Pigment. At lowest listed prices that makes one Ultramarine Ink for 29 silver, against 50 silver listed. Also a required reagent in 44 other recipes (43 Inscription and 1 Jewelcrafting); the most per craft: Sinister Combatant's Etched Vessel (Inscription, 50 per craft), Glyph of Dire Bees (Inscription, 30 per craft), Glyph of Steaming Fury (Inscription, 30 per craft), Glyph of Storm's Wake (Inscription, 30 per craft) and Glyph of the Aerial Chameleon (Inscription, 30 per craft).

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Contract: Rajani cost 12 gold52 silver. Most of that is Ultramarine Ink - 25 at 50 silver each, 12 gold50 silver, 99.8% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 13 gold17 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 14 gold94 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 2 gold42 silver; the Auction House would keep 74 silver70 copper of a sale, leaving 1 gold67 silver. That is an estimated 13.4% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 30.9% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 194 units across 9 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
