Where you hear it

arrowhita.ogg is the thud of an arrow hitting flesh or armour. Several variants exist, and the client mixes them during a fight. It is one of the shortest sounds in the game, around a third of a second. Hunters hear it on every shot that connects. Its punch makes a tiny, satisfying notification blip.

TriggerPlays when an arrow strikes a creature or player.
