Banquet of the Brew

This banquet can more or less be considered as a vanity feast rather than a useful one as it raises all spec's main stat by 250, in comparison to specialized feast or Pandaren feast's 275.

Anyone who follows the most efficient skill pattern for Brew Master (Giseng up to 555, 10x Jade Witch to 575) needs to make this 5x to max Master of the Brew: 5x Soy Sauce (soy in brew? yuck) , 250x Cabbage and 250x Witchberries in total. Alternatively, you can save yourself one or two Soy Sauce at the expense of 50 of each vegetable by creating Great Banquet of the Brew: this twice and Great banquet twice if on 575 or three times Great banquet if on 576.

As for the feasts themselves: I suggest to bring them for the countless of wipes. Nothing's better than to drink it away... actually, what I mean with this is that if your group is still progressing on a boss, you're probably best of using some of your brew feasts instead of very expensive ones: you will still get a decent benefit for a fraction of the cost (and many have them in bulk anyway), if you find yourself edging out to kill a boss, use a Pandaren feast or +300 food.

It appears that they have finally corrected this error. The banquets now award 5 skill points again.

Note that after 8.0, crafting these Banquets no longer grant 5 skill points, they only grant a single point in cooking. This makes them not cost effective at all for crafting and it may be best to not craft them at all until Blizzard changes the mat cost or returns them to granting the correct amount of skill points.
