Killing [npc=69461] gives you a quest item [item=94721] which starts a quest Lightning Steel .

You hand in the quest to a book inside the Thunderforge, which is behind the doors just to the left of [npc=69461].

You get your first [item=94111] plus, [item=94553].

Open your [item=94553] and inside will be:-

Using your Daily CD Lightning Steel Ingot you will learn a random Crafted Dreadful Piece or a random 522 ilvl Helm or Boots.....

So you get the first stage of each new crafted weapon just from handing in the quest, and once you have crafted the 1st stage of any weapon you auto learn the 2nd stage for that weapon and once you craft the 2nd stage you auto get the 3rd and final stage of that weapon.... Takes 30 days to craft 1 3rd stage weapon x5 days 1st stage, x10 days for 2nd stage and x15 day for 3rd and final stage.

As far as i know [item=94111] are only used for the reborn weapons... they are NOT used for the 522 ilvl items.

Crafting this item teaches you Blazefury, Reborn.

You don't learn the Reborn weapons from the daily Lightning Steel Ingot cool down, you get Dreadful and Haunting Plans from that. You get the Reborn 1st stage of each weapon plans from handing in the quest, and you get the next stage of the weapon when you craft the first stage of that weapon, and the 3rd stage when you craft the 2nd stage.
