The devs told us exactly how 7.0 Divine Steed works at the link(s) below.

I'm pasting it here as they typically delete the beta forums after release.

Q: Is Divine Steed boosted by Heart of the Crusader (which would seem logical given that it's a mount)?

Yes.

Let it be noted that Heart of the Crusader does cumulate, and also other "mount speed increase" buffs apparently. With the achievement "Broken Isles Pathfinder Part one", Divine Speed makes me go at 240% of normal speed, instead of 120% vanilla.

You can now glyph it to make it look like your class flying mount. Every appearance is available if you unlocked the color variation. It is sold by the same guy who sells you the mounts in the class order hall (so next to the mission board).

I've noticed that if you have a buff that changes your mount, in this case Warforged Nightmare, that it converts your 3 second horse into an instant cast mount. The downside is that it wont let you cast it indoors because it immediately dismounts you.

By far the worst replacement to Long Arm of the Law and Pursuit of Justice; both that felt great to use and gave you consistent mobility with damage and holy power stacking. Divine Steed takes this all away, by giving paladins a one use short burst speed that looks ridiculous as your horse just pops out between your legs and disappears back into the void right after.

Bring back Exorcism, bring back Long Arm of the Law, and bring back Pursuit of Justice. The new paladin from legion and into BFA feels like a warrior with a holy skin; I want the mobility and plated magic users that were paladins back from WoD and before(specifically ret).

Currently there is a bug where Steed of Glory makes you immune to all CC so here is an easy way to win RBG's:

Divine Steed + [skill=230332] + [spell=199542] + Crusader Aura

With Divine Steed, Cavalier and Steed of Glory you have complete immunity to ALL CC for 10 seconds and move at 120% speed with Crusader Aura. With this you can easily make it halfway across the map as a flag carrier. If you take Night Fae and get the ability to have an extra 50% speed increase for 12 seconds with 4 total blinks then it is even stronger. Because gearing is super easy with PvP if you can win RBG's and it is even easy to switch covenants. Everyone should be running two Paladins with this set-up have the first run it halfway and hand off to the next. You can cap a flag in 30 seconds or less with COMPLETE IMMUNITY TO CC. Have the rest of the team defend or something. Maybe if enough people run this strategy Blizzard will fix it.
