Empyrium Seam

Farming Empyrium Seam was tedious. It felt worse than Felslate Seams because you can't fly out in any of the three Argus areas(Krokuun, Antoran Wastes, Eredath). I decided to farm in Krokuun since there are more nodes and less competition since there always seemed to be someone farming the three main areas in Eredath. Here is the map I color coded:

As you can see from each color, only one node will spawn in one of the four. From there, it's about a 7 to 8 minute respawn timer. I make my way around and depending on which node respawns, it took me anywhere from 7:10 minutes to clear the map(8 nodes unless someone got to it right before me) to 8:40. So knowing that

I always start off in the upper right after taking the teleport to Destiny Point. I went in the order red > orange > yellow > green > blue > purple > indigo > black. After I mined the node in the black quadrant, I used my Flight Master's Whistle and started all over.

In total it took me exactly 3100 ore for rank three to finally drop. It's about 5 ore per node so 620 nodes give or take for me personally. I definitely recommend watching something on another screen or your tv to pass the time. It was about 10-11 hours of serious farming.

I got both rank 3 seam and deposit in 1043 deposits from rank 2. It is rng so I got the seam way before the deposit rank 3.

I got the rank 3 seam like 8 seam clicks in while on rank 2. I got rank 3 deposit after I got like 1043 ore in my bags.

The item will be a quest item that will go in your bags so no you do not have to look out for a npc like the leystone/felslate ones where you have to look out for a npc, put on trivial quests so the quest marker lights up if you want to not miss that while working on other legion nodes. Good luck!

Fantastic route..Also took 3k to get the rank 3 to drop. I started left and made a cirlce to Terreks cave and got the one next to it and then flight whistled and repeated. Drop rate seams pretty crappy tho.
