We have to choose between shields or a cloaking device? I thought the Romulans had solved that problem...
This + Feign Death = Hunter Vanish.
Using this only requires that you be out of combat, not your pet (it also does not work on your pet). Therefore you can quickly pet passive, FD, and Invis with very little delay, whereas Camo requires your pet to get of combat which takes a very long time. This also does not break when your pet attacks like camo does, so once you are invis you can immediately attack again with your pet to keep your location hidden. Very useful in the PvP areas where it is useable.
