Millennia ago, Neltharion established Aberrus, a secret laboratory where he conducted world altering experiments. Recently rediscovered, Aberrus is now under attack from all sides as forces seeking to claim the Earth-Warder's legacy search for any power that remains. The champions of Azeroth must venture into the shadows and ensure Neltharion's dark power doesn't fall into the wrong hands.

Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible entrance
The Amalgamation Chamber drops 1 piece of this set (Waist). Adventure Guide map pin: 44.4, 63.6 on the Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible map. The Eternal Blaze burns with the heat of a thousand suns, while the Essence of Shadow blooms with darkness incarnate. Although exceptionally powerful on their own, when combined they surge with the unchecked might of shadowflame, creating a whirlwind of ultimate destruction.
Rashok, the Elder drops 1 piece of this set (Wrist). Adventure Guide map pin: 67.5, 21.8 on the Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible map. Imprisoned within Aberrus for a millennia, the Zaqali elder Rashok has been perpetually drained of the raging flame within him to power Neltharion's twisted laboratory. Existing on the edge of death for so long has driven the elder mad. Should he break free, his vengeance will scour the Shadowed Crucible's halls.
The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn drops 1 piece of this set (Back). Adventure Guide map pin: 51.3, 24.5 on the Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible map. Long ago, Zskarn was tasked with testing the mettle of Neltharion's experiments. Only the most powerful would pass muster and keep their lives. The latest visitors to the Shadowed Crucible have attracted his unwavering attention--but his approval will be much harder to earn.
Scalecommander Sarkareth drops 2 pieces of this set (Legs, Feet). Adventure Guide map pin: 49.0, 71.3 on the Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible map. As leader of the Sundered Flame, Scalecommander Sarkareth broke away from the rest of the dracthyr to forge a new future. He has since led his forces to Aberrus, intent on claiming the legacy he believes rightfully belongs to his kind and willing to do anything to obtain it.
Once, the skies of the Dragon Isles were filled with the dragons of the five flights. But thousands of years ago the dragonflights left to defend Azeroth from those that threatened the world. Recently, however, the Isles have reawakened and called their long-absent caretakers to return. They were not alone--four great primal dragons have also arrived: Basrikron, wielder of earth and shale; Strunraan, master of electric tempests; Bazual, manipulator of flame; and Liskanoth, mistress of ice and cold.
The Zaqali Elders drops 1 piece of this set (Head). Vakan and Gholna, powerful djaradin elders, are each a master over their respective element. Gholna with lava and Vakan with shadowflame, they are locked in constant conflict over who is stronger. Through devastation and chaos, each elder attempts to outdo the other until one of them is crowned victor.

2 pieces (Preservation): Spiritbloom applies a heal over time effect for 40% of healing done over 8 sec. Dream Breath's healing is increased by 15%.
2 pieces (Augmentation): Ebon Might increases the damage of your empower spells by 30%.
4 pieces (Devastation): Empower spells deal 12% increased damage and cause your Obsidian Shards to blaze with power, dealing 200% more damage for 5 sec. During Dragonrage, shards always blaze with power.
4 pieces (Preservation): After casting 4 empower spells, gain Essence Burst immediately and another 3 sec later.
4 pieces (Augmentation): Ebon Might increases allies' primary stat by an additional 1.1% of your own.
