Fear

Tooltip

Strikes fear in the enemy, causing it to run in fear for up to 10 sec. Damage caused may interrupt the effect. Only 1 target can be feared at a time.

How it works

Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its dispel type is client id 1. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Fear is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 7.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 31. Its base value is 25.

What it does

Fear is a Shadow spell with a 1.5 sec cast, a range of 20 yards and effects that last 10 sec. When cast it applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the fleeing mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
