How it works

Each cast of Frost Nova costs 75 Mana. Its dispel type is client id 1. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Frost Nova is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 175.409. It scales with 1 times spell power. Its area radius is 10 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 26. Its area radius is 10 yards.

What it does

Frost Nova is a Frost spell with an instant cast, no range (it targets the caster) and effects that last 8 sec. When cast it deals Frost damage (base value 175.409) in a 10 yard radius and applies an aura in a 10 yard radius. The client files the whole spell under the rooted mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
