Tooltip

Draws on the soul of the party member to shield them, absorbing 942 damage. Lasts 30 sec. While the shield holds, spellcasting will not be interrupted by damage. Once shielded, the target cannot be shielded again for 15 sec.

How it works

Each cast of Power Word: Shield costs 500 Mana. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its dispel type is client id 1. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 69. Its base value is 942.

What it does

Power Word: Shield is a Holy spell with an instant cast, a range of 40 yards, a 4 sec cooldown and effects that last 30 sec. When cast it applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the shielded mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
