Spell Lock

Silences the enemy for 3 sec. If used on a casting target, it will counter the enemy's spellcast, preventing any spell from that school of magic from being cast for 6 sec.

How it works

Each cast of Spell Lock costs 120 Mana. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown.

Spell Lock is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Interrupt Cast (effect type 68). It applies the interrupted mechanic.
  2. Effect 2 is Trigger Spell (effect type 64). It scales with 1 times spell power. It applies the silenced mechanic. It triggers Spell Lock.

What it does

Spell Lock is a Shadow spell with an instant cast, a range of 30 yards, a 30 sec cooldown and effects that last 6 sec. When cast it interrupts spellcasting with the interrupted mechanic. It also casts Spell Lock (record #24259).
