This is a series of achievements.
Achievements up to and including 10.000 Honorable Kills are individual character achievements.
Achievements after and including 25.000 Honorable Kills are account wide.
Progress for account wide progress can be tracked with this macro:
/script AddTrackedAchievement("5363")If you have already earned the 25.000 Honorable Kill achievement on one character, you will not get the pop up for a second one again.
If you have less than 25k total kills you might be confused why you are missing the previous achievements, thinking they should be tracked account wide too, but they are individual achievements. This is working as intended it seems and took me some time to wrap my head around it. It is for example possible to get the 25k achievement, without ever getting the 5k achievement, if the kills are spread out over multiple toons / twinks.
If you already have more than 5000 honorable kills at the launch of WotLK you will have this achievement completed when you log in after the release of WotLK as well as any other honor kill achievements you have more honor kills than the objective.
