A Test of Scale I

Achievements: A Test of Scale I, A Test of Scale II, A Test of Scale III, A Test of Scale IV

10.1.7 adds achievements for all crafting professions to craft a certain amount of items. Leatherworking requires you to craft 2,000 items in total.

I purchased Callous Hide x 20,000 to create Heavy Callous Hide x 2,000. You can also try Mist-Touched Leather (Sha Armor Kit) or Light Leather (Light Armor Kit).

Always check how many are available on the market. When these achievements release, the market will be unstable due to large amounts of resources being bought up. Be cautious purchasing on the AH as it can sometimes autobuy high cost materials.

At current market prices, here are some of the cheaper crafts that count toward this achievement. Prices will fluctuate, so these may not always be the cheapest.

As they introduced these non retroactive acms, I was really furious about it. But this one just popped up after creating bigger hides/leather to clean up bag space while I was farming genesis motes on the instant respawning raptora in Zereth Mortis. So it's quite easy as leatherworker.

Edit: Unfortunately the bird was nerfed in 10.2, no longer droping leather.
