Adept Sandfisher

For this achievement you need to wait for Vol'dun Sandfishing World Quest to pop up.
Use [item=159760] extra action button to summon quest mobs. (Should be out of combat to use it)
But don't collect [item=159767] quest items because you need this quest to last longer, so you can collect all the scales.
You need to collect 5 gray Sandworm Scales to complete the achievement.
All of them drop from the same [npc=136653]. The droprate is kinda low.

In the endless sands of Vol'dun, Aric chased the legend of the Sandfishing pools—hidden oases said to hold rare scales. He studied the dunes, followed whispered clues, and cast his line where the earth shimmered with false promise.

Days turned to weeks, then months. The pools never appeared. His bait remained untouched, his hope eroded like wind-worn stone. Yet, he never stopped searching.

Though he never became an Adept Sandfisher, his journey became legend—a tale of perseverance, chasing the unseen, and the mystery of what may still lie beneath the sands.

Quickest way to do this achievement:

Of course, you need to wait until the Sandfishing is up. The 'sandfishing rod' is an extra action button that you get when entering the quest area. Clicking that action button makes you "fish" for the mobs and these five scales drop from the summoned mobs at a rather low rate (about 5-10% or so?). However, as soon as you have looted the eight [item=159767] for the world quest, the extra action button disappears and you have to wait for the next time the quest is up to be able to summon more mobs. As the Sandworm fangs drop from just about every mob, it is very likely that you will not get a single scale this way.

BUT the scales drop in raid groups and the quest items do not. So make sure you are in a raid group and then you can just stay fishing until you have all five scales. You can have a raid group by for instance listing a group in LFG (for instance for the achievement!) and then right-click your portrait and select "Convert to raid". Be mindful that if noone joins your group, it will be delisted after a while, after which you are no longer in a raid group and will begin looting the quest item! So might want to disable auto-loot. You can of course re-list the group at this point and convert to raid again.

Don't worry if you see no loot for several minutes - while I did the achievement, these mobs did not drop anything but the scales.

To speed things up, you can spam-click the action button while out of combat - the cast does not need to finish for the mob to appear - which means you will get a lot of mobs at the same time. I am a very bad elemental shaman ilvl 362 and had no issues handling lots of these (other than they knock you back, which is annoying for casters).

It took me 40 minutes to get the achievement, which is certainly not bad. Best of luck!
