Burst Damage

Achievement can be soloed by using burst items then logging out for 3 mins waiting for cooldown, This has pretty tight timer so you may want to optimize your loading time by disabling addons, placing your character in old zone and puting burst items and potion on the action bar

The first five items give you a 30 secs buff. You need all five buffs and then use Potion of Bursting Blood.
Problem is that if you use one of the items, you get a 3 mins cooldown before you can use the next one.
You can get around this by logging out - if you are logged out, the cooldown keeps counting down, but the buff doesn't.

So if you want to solo this, you can follow reagent404's advice

  • Put all 6 potions on your action bar

  • Create a /logout macro and put it on your action bar

  • Go to a resting area, they don't have the 20 secs logout timer.

  • Choose a resting area in an old zone. I chose the inn on the Isle of Quel'Danas at [npc=25036]. Get there from Stormwind / Orgrimmar by taking the Portal to Shattrath, then the Portal to Quel'Danas in the same room you arrive at Shattrath

Except for the need to be in a resting area, and that you need to be logged out at least 3 minutes, all other hints are optional.
I had 8 seconds left on the first buff when I tried it.

Note that except for Potion of Bursting Blood, everything has five charges, so you don't need to get it right first try.

All these burst named potions drop in Korthia from mushrooms you can click. But the droprates are very low. You can buy the burst items on AH, since the recipes are really low drop chance and not many alchemists will have them. Also the recipes on AH are really pricey. The price will be quite high in the first days/weeks when 10.1.7 hits.

Suggest stocking up before patch hits or know a alchemist who has them. :)

Potion of bursting blood is learned as rank 1 for 30g and mats are cheap enough.
