To get that achievement (and other Challenge Master achievements) your group must be made of players only from one realm. If you complete challange mode with better time than Realm Best and with players from other realms, you will appear as 1st on realm leaderboard, but you won't get an achievement, nor the title.

Correction: you only need THREE players from your realm for it to count as your realm best. You will get the achievement.
