A guildie recently received this. You now need to contact billing with a photo of the CD-key and a picture of your identification.
At the moment- December 2021, it is impossible to get an in-game achievement and a pet. In case of a personal unsuccessful attempt to activate the code, I contacted Blizzard support, where they reported that the "old" activation codes of collector's editions are equated to expired ones and it is CATEGORICALLY impossible to get in-game achievements for them. No official news and reports were previously received. Just put in front of the fact that the keys have become expired! Thanks Blizzard!
