Gnomes count as critters, right?

Here is a list of good locations to farm critters for this achievement in attempt to cut down on the amount of repeated comments.

• Easiest spot: Zul'Gurub's fast respawning [npc=2914]s can get you a few hundred kills in just a few minutes. Only works in the un-instanced zone, but it can bug if somebody nearby is doing a quest.
• 
  
• Fastest spot: [npc=58883], an elite mob in Krasarang Wilds, spawns critters constantly in combat. If you don't kill her, she will continue to spawn waves of critters every few seconds. Best done in a duo; one kiter and one AoEer.
• 
  
• Rats at the Deeprun Tram have instant respawn times
• 
  
• Terrorweb Tunnel in EPL houses about 280 critters.
• 
  
• Stonetalon Pass in Mulgore has a lot of critters, although they sometimes kill each other (it's true!)
• 
  
• Penguins in Borean Tundra over a dozen on each iceberg.
• 
  
• Agmar's Hammer is a nice spot for Horde characters to farm.
• 
  
• Darnassus is a good spot for alliance lowbies, since you can run around the whole city killing and never run out of respawns.
• 
  
• Turkeys in Borean Tundra. Once you kill 15 turkeys, a horde of Angry Turkeys will appear to attack you. They count to the achievement too!
• 
  
• Players questing in Gilneas (on this quest) could kill 1,000 critters in 10 minutes. No longer count as critters.
• 
  
• Herds of [npc=1933] in Uldum and in Gilneas were easily aoed down, and were instant respawns. No longer count as critters.

[item=33866] will make kills for the achievement even when you're AFK. Stormchops can make 600 kills per hour and lasts 30 mins - just long enough before you get afk logged.

Companions that kill critters (1 2 3 4 5) no longer count! :(

Also, bear in mind that the [item=63398] can only be purchased at revered guild rep.

As of 4.0.6 it is not possible to get multiple kill-counts per critter by grouping with several guildies! :( HOWEVER if you group with somebody in a different guild, it does count towards both your guilds' achievement, so team up with your friends in different guilds! :)

There's a cave in Eastern Plaguelands here that has tons of spiders/cockroaches and other cave things. I'm not sure what the respawn rate is, I only ran through it once, but I easily got 150 just going through the cave, swiping.
