(Posted this on the heroic one, too) I just talked to a GM in regards to not getting credit for this achievement. It does indeed have to do with the Prophet being in his "dead" phase when dying, or you being in that phase. It's a very common issue that they are working on now and expect it to be resolved soon. When I asked if we made sure to kill him in his "living" phase, would we receive proper credit, the reply was that it was hard to say for sure. It's really touchy, and even if you continued trying different ways and such, it's not guaranteed, although you could get lucky. Hope this helps anyone that's been wondering!
Just did this with a group, and I'm pretty sure nobody popped a pet out at the last second.
However, we killed him while in decayed flesh mode and nobody got the achievement.
Can anyone else confirm this is an issue?
