3 months on and still bugged ..... seems about right

I finally caught Kozar Silverclaw today... aaaand didn't get credit for kill >< Killing blow also didn't help. Proof

UPD 1! I received a reply from the GM for my ticket:

I totally understand how frustrating it must be to not receive credit for the "Focused Target" achievement after finally catching Kozar Silverclaw. It sounds like you’ve put in a lot of effort, and I’m here to help!

Just a quick note: achievements like this one are faction-specific. This means that if you’re playing on an Alliance character, you’ll only get credit towards the Alliance version of the achievement, and the same goes for Horde characters.

Also, to receive credit, you need to be among the first five players to loot the pouch that drops after defeating Kozar. If you weren’t one of the first five, unfortunately, that could be why you didn’t get credit.

There have been some similar reports in the past, but a fix was implemented in December 2023. If you believe you met all the requirements and still didn’t receive credit, I recommend resetting your UI by typing /reload in the chat. Sometimes, addons can interfere with achievement tracking, so it’s worth checking that too!

UPD 2! I received a reply from the another GM on my indignations for their AI-like answer:

My apologies for the previous response. I understand that you are not getting the criteria for killing the Kozar Silverclaw on the Focused Target achievement. We have actually received a few reports on this not working as intended. Our team is looking into the Training Ground achievements. We currently do not have a workaround that we can provide. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
