The Traitor King (25 player)

For the achievement Hopocalypse Now one user posted this really useful macro that can be used to count the mobs. The way this works is to count the visible nameplates. So, if there are spiders up (or the boss) they will also be counted. Also, the kiting aspect of this achievement means that not all of the mob nameplates might be visible, so you should attempt to clump them up a bit to ensure more accurate counting.

/run local count = 0 for i = 0, 10000, 1 do if _G["NamePlate"..i] ~= nil and _G["NamePlate"..i]:IsVisible() then count = count + 1 end end print(count)

I suppose some people didn't do this during WotLK, so just a few tips.

- In p2 when Anub'arak is submerged, it will follow you. Just let it catch you and stand still till it comes back up. It will get you the most Scarabs.
- Don't mind the debuff the Scarabs give you, it's not gonna kill you, as level 100 the ticks miss.
- Don't get Anub'arak to 35%, it will enter p3 and not submerge again.
- Don't mind enraged adds.

Basically, just stand still, tank the boss, wait for adds (you'll need two submerges for enough adds) and aoe them down.

People are complicating this too much...

Guide written in BFA 8.3

1- Walk over the boss to aggro it.
2- Make sure you are not attacking and be afk for 7min. (1min10sec for each submerge and 1min10sec to emerge)
3- AOE the Scarabs after he emerges for the 3th time
4- You dont even need to kill the boss.
