Total gold acquired

This statistic will prove whether you have your mind on your money and your money on your mind.

But they mean the same damn thing!

If you have the bug where your gold is showing a negative number, it's because blizzard saves how much gold you've earned as a signed integer.
Basically, you can have up to the old gold cap, 2^31 copper, or 214k gold. Once you reach 214k gold, it will change to show -214k gold, and continue to count backwards until it reaches 0 gold again. After that, it will count up normally.

So, if you had, say -200000000 copper, that's -200k gold, so you should have earned a total of about (214k + (214-200)) = 228k gold. And so on, and so forth.
