I have 1530 unique pets right now and the addon Rematch shows I have 73 uncollected, of which some are non obtainable. It seems the maximum I can collect at the moment is around 1600, making this achievement unobtainable at this moment.
This achievement was nerfed from 1750 collected pets to 1600 collected pets.
