Many More Mini Minions

I have 1454 pets and I only have I think 30 more pets I can get (that are still in the game). There are ~100 new pets in the next expansion so I'm wondering how long it will be before someone gets the 2k achieved? Will it even be in the next Expansion?

I used to collect all the pets, but with Shadowlands I decided to downgrade my collection since there were so many that I just didn't like. I figured that I'd just miss out these types of achievements. So I was surprised to get rewarded for Many More Minions since I got rid of hundreds of pets months prior to it being released. I guess that if you had that many pets at one point, then it still counts. I'll see about continuing to collect 'all the pets' with a catch and release sort of approach in Dragonflight to see it it still works for the next tier of the achievement. It would be great if it did!

The requirement for Many More Mini Minions been reduced to 1200 pets, down from 1250, as of today.
