World of Warcraft: Forever beta known issues for September 17: eight fixes already in the next build
World of Warcraft
Blizzard's first Forever beta known issues list covers Waylaid Crates, Paladin and Priest talents, Warlock pet displays, guild charters and a barber chair Lua error. Eight entries are marked fixed in the next beta build.
Blizzard community manager Kaivax posted the first known issues list for the World of Warcraft: Forever beta on the official forums on the evening of September 17, 2026, the day the beta opened.
Eight issues are marked as fixed in the next beta build. Waylaid Crates do not work on items whose maximum stack size is smaller than the quantity required. Waylaid Crate: Apprentice Curiosities does not accept Greater Magic Essence and wrongly allows Lesser Magic Essence as a target. In the Teldrassil quest Escaping Ban'ethil, Sentinel Lynessa Duskblossom runs too fast and spams her Strike ability. Starshards, the Night Elf Priest racial, does not benefit from the Twilight Focus talent. Vengeance, the Retribution Paladin talent, can activate from periodic critical strikes. Ranking up Holy Strike is flagged as not feeling good per rank. Create Firestone ranks 3 and 4 do not show the conjured item part of the tooltip. Coldridge Valley does not reveal on the map when explored.
Blizzard lists more work in progress: the character pane missing level, class or titles, Warlock pet resource and scaling displays, pet hit chance and expertise displays, pet movement speed base values, Glancing Blow calculations for casters and higher level targets, the Legacy System hotkey being reachable before level 25, and guild charter signing.
Other known issues: barber chairs cause a Lua error, character friends are disabled in the beta, and the minimap may sit partly off the screen.
