Today’s widest realm price gaps

The 12 items where moving realms saves the most gold right now. “Typical cheap realm” is the 25th percentile of realm prices, so this compares the best realm against an already-cheap one, not against a troll listing. Every row is listed on at least 40 connected realms. Blizzard AH snapshot:

About this tool

Each price is the cheapest current listing for that item on a connected realm, from the latest Blizzard AH snapshot, ranked low to high. Connected realms share one Auction House, so each row represents a connected-realm group. Built for realm-scoped items like recipes, transmog, BoEs, mounts, and collectibles.

To go the other way and read one realm's market instead of one item's, use the realm deals index. Price history for a single item lives on its item page, and the gold price of a WoW Token per region is on the WoW Token tracker.

Auction house prices by realm

Every realm has its own Auction House, and prices for gear, recipes and other unique items differ from server to server. Each realm page below lists the items with the most units for sale, the current price beside its 7-day median, and the deals priced under market. Pick your realm, or open the full realm list for every server we track.

Auction house price questions

How do I check auction house prices?

Search the item on the Auction House browser to see the lowest price listed right now, or open your realm's price page to see the most listed items with their current price next to the 7-day median. In game you can confirm any price at an auctioneer in a major city before you buy.

What is market price versus current price?

The current price is the lowest buyout listed at this moment. The market price is what the item usually costs. On TheWoWDB it is the 7-day median of the cheapest price recorded each hour, so one cheap or expensive listing does not distort it. A current price below the market price is a possible bargain, and one above it means you may want to wait.

Which realm is cheapest?

It depends on the item. Commodities such as herbs, ore and cloth share one price across a region, but gear, recipes, mounts and other unique items are priced per realm, so the same item can cost far less on another server. The cheapest realm finder compares one item across every scanned realm and ranks the realms by price.
