Core Hound

Details

Core Hound is a Ferocity Hunter pet family. Ferocity pets deal high damage and are the preferred choice for most Hunter DPS builds. They eat meat.

Pet abilities

The 3 spells on the Pet - Exotic Core Hound skill line, the one a tamed Core Hound brings with it. It is an Exotic line, so only a Beast Mastery hunter can tame this family.

• Bite

  Bite the enemy, causing damage. Deals 100% more damage and costs 100% more Focus when your pet has 50 or more Focus.

• Molten Hide

  When the core hound takes melee attacks, it infuses its hide with molten lava, causing Fire damage to all further melee attackers for 10 sec. Molten Hide can only activate every 60 sec.

• Obsidian Skin

  The Core Hound suddenly cools and hardens the magma on its skin, reducing damage taken by 50% for 12 sec.

Taming

Core Hound pets are tameable by Hunters. Use your Tame Beast ability on a wild Core Hound creature to add one to your stable.
