Commander Vorka

Since 7.3.5 the damage in this fight seems pretty unforgiving and overtuned.

As a prot paladin Lvl (94) I had to use pretty much only ranged attack on him. I only ran up to him in between his attacks, when in range I dropped consecration and hit him with hammer and shield of righteousness. If you are on a toon that's ranged it seems like it would be easier.

I am a level 98 fire mage. I am using my 42 intel boost plus my arcane intel boost plus a versatility boost. I am standing at a distance, range shooting. I send in my army right away and my mirror images moments later. We all die within moments. I am really losing heart. I'm pretty sure I need this for loremaster, and I just don't know how I am going to beat it.

UPDATE: I read everything I could find on this guy. Someone mentioned running behind him to fight him. I tried that, and suddenly the impossible was completely possible. I still had a battle on my hands and had to use a healing potion, but all of a sudden, it was over! What a relief! And it was the last quest in the entire area, so by finishing that quest, I am now one step closer to Loremaster!
