It should be noted that if Kayn is assigned as your combat ally (or any other champion for that matter) they will not appear in the fel hammer and thus you will not be able to turn in quests.
Simply dismiss the combat ally to fix this.
same if you sent them on mission.. kayn is currently on a 4+ hour mission now that I need to hand this in :/
