These guys will seemingly chase you to the end of the world - or at least to the border of the zone. A group of them chased me all the way to Stormheim and then disappeared as I crossed the border. You may have to wait a few seconds before crossing back to Suramar as they may reappear and attack you again.
Fortunately, you can also use the portal at Oculeth's Workshop for a slightly quicker getaway. Or you could, you know, just kill them.
In other words: They're tired of elves and their bickering causing conflict over who's the most noble, even in the midst of a full-on demonic invasion. Hence they combine 'don't' with 'dorei', the elven word for 'child' to create the 'don'torei' as a term for just how tired they are of elves.
