His knock back has no range, it seems, so even if you are 40 yards away it will affect you.
Has a "Smash" stacking debuff that reduces healing by 50% and has 15 or 20 second duration, meaning it's difficult to get rid of. If you're a melee class that relies on self healing, this is a difficult fight and there's currently no point.
