This is the first MOB that Wowhead has failed to help me on. What is the strategy? I am a mage. I burn him down to half-health, and he dives underground. He returns with full health. What should I do? How do I prevent this?
It respawns after 1 minute and does indeed net a rather huge amount of experience. Killing it repeatedly, however, is only worth it if you can kill it fast enough not to submerge.
On my DK, I managed that several times (85k DPS), but other times I had up to 3 submerges (30k DPS). So in the end it might not really be viable.
