Restalaan

Restalaan is from the novel Rise of the Horde. He is a trusted friend of the Prophet Velen and captain of the guard of the hidden city of Telmor.

Many years ago, Restalaan and his men saved two orc children from an ogre. The orcs' names were Durotan and Orgrim. As it was growing late, Restalaan invited the children to spend the night in Telmor and had one of his draenei tell their clans that they were safe.

In the prime timeline, Restalaan would meet Durotan again when the Horde attacked Telmor. Durotan remembered the magical incantation that would make the crystal Leafshadow reveal Telmor's hidden location. Restalaan, angered at Durotan's betrayal of his trust, fought to his death. Though Durotan won, killing the draenei who had saved his life as a child hurt him.

In the alternate timeline in WoD, the Horde never attacked Telmor. Instead, the green orcs commanded by Gul'dan and loyal to the Burning Legion are invading the invisible city.
