As of today, he seems to be bugged. Both versions (ghost and corporeal) are there standing on top of each other. Submitted a bug report, but have little hope for this being fixed. That said, it was disappointing for me since, despite having saved him and sacrificed myself back on Mardum, I can interact only with the ghost version for some reason.
