1. Arcane Blast (if you gain dragon buff again this one wrecks him)

Taralune offers a moderate challenge if you have lowbie pet in your team for leveling purposes or if you are going for An Awfully Big Adventure. For the achievement you don't actually have to use the [npc=82464], it can just hang around in team without ever participating the battle, but not against Taralune. Beating her with two level 25 pets can be annoying but far from impossible. Many two pet combinations can handle her and I've included two of them below (setup A is probably a bit more reliable one, but with Setup B your carry pet doesn't take any damage):

The course of the battle:

1. 
   
2. Start with [npc=82464] or your lowbie. Your lowbie needs to have enough HP (800+ or less with Mech pet) to soak the first three abilities from [npc=87983] which are [petability=308], [petability=506] and [petability=484]. This is because the moth's high speed combined with Counterspell and Cocoon Strike makes it hard to land hits until the Flying racial gets deactivated.
3. 
   
4. Swap to Rascal Bot to soak Counterspell (and to get Immunity for the next one!) and then cast [petability=1020].
5. 
   
6. Serenpidity will have -50% hit chance for two rounds during which it will cast first [petability=506] and then [petability=308]. You need to land [petability=1021] three times which will kill the first moth. DON'T use the Lens Flare on Serenpidity for the second time.
7. 
   
8. When [npc=87982] enters, first cast [petability=1020].
9. 
   
10. Again three [petability=1021] hits will snuff out Grace and depending on your luck with Lens Flare, your Rascal Bot will might be dead or still going strong to face the third moth.
11. 
    
12. If your Bot is still alive, start again with Lens Flare and work your way with Phaser until either Bot or [npc=87981] dies.
13. 
    
14. If your Rascal Bot died against Grace, your Nexus Whelpling shouldn't have much problems finishing off whatever is still standing with [petability=489] when [petability=589] is up.
15. 
    

The end result can vary a LOT because of [petability=1020], but usually it favors the player and I've even managed to kill each moth with Rascal Bot alone. [petability=1025] isn't really needed but you can drop it if you choose so, for instance when Bot is about to die.

The course of the battle:

2. Start with [npc=68662]. Your first action is irrelevant as [npc=87983] will interrupt it with [petability=308].
3. 
   
4. In the secound round, the moth continues to annoy you with [petability=506], so answer it by casting [petability=299] to break the cocoon and to cleave the other flyers. Next cast [petability=611] to heal up a bit as [petability=484] will hit your pet on the next round.
5. 
   
6. Drop two Arcane Explosions to the enemy team. During the AE first your pet is hit by another Counterspell, but your [petability=924] negates the interrupt and during the second AE, another Feedback hits your dragonkin.
7. 
   
8. It is very crucial to pass on the next turn. Serenpidity will cast another Cocoon Strike during this round. The reason to pass the round is that you'll next move will be another Ancient Blessing. If you had attacked (and had thus broken the cocoon), you wouldn't have been able to land the heal because the moth will cast Counterspell again. As the cocoon is still intact, your heal lands first and the interrupt gets pretty much wasted.

10. Cast two Arcane Explosions more, in return you are hit by two Feedbacks. If all has gone well, your pet is at very low HP at this point.
11. 
    
12. Chrominius will die to a Counterspell on the next round no matter what you try to cast. Having your first dragon dead, bring in your lowbie or elekk and immediately swap the [npc=68845] to the fray. A Cocoon Strike should hit your whelp when it enters.
13. 
    
14. Your whelpling's first cast is [petability=589] while Serenpidity casts Feedback once more (it will negate nicely the interrupt effect from [petability=308]).
15. 
    
16. Now comes the fun part! Having [petability=590] up, you are free to cast [petability=489] which scores a hatrick. The first hit will finish off Serenpidity.
17. 
    
18. [npc=87982] will cast [petability=204] which hurts but changes nothing: the second Mana Surge hits snuffs out the moth as it's already weakened by several Arcane Explosion hits and the Arcane Storm hit.
19. 
    
20. Likewise, the third Mana Surge hit will disintegrate the already weakened [npc=87981] into a pile of ashes.
21. 
    

This tactic is rather reliable one, but one bad critical hit before the step 6 might mess up the whole try. Not only it shuffles the course of the battle, but it also means less damage to the other moths and thus Mana Surge hits might not oneshot them. Nevertheless, it's still very solid tactic in overall.
