TheWoWDBShooting in the dark here (especially since I've just seen her and haven't progressed through the story), but I'm guessing that Vesiphone is meant to be a nod to the Greek Goddess, Persephone. Vesiphone is the "Paragon of Purity", and one of the names that Persephone is known by is "The Pure One"
