World of Warcraft: Forever launches globally on November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST. The release offers a reimagined original Azeroth as a permanent home next to modern and Classic WoW. Characters can level to 60 on the original continents.
New players create a fresh character and start from the beginning. Blizzard has published a starter guide for them and a separate guide for returning players. A podcast episode with developers Josh "Aggrend" Greenfield, Ana Resendez and Frank Williams covers the technical side. Separately, the Talebound demo for Midnight is live on the Player Test Realm. It includes the Red Hollow introduction and three tales on Normal, Veteran and Heroic difficulties. The Slayer, Inquisitor and Witch classes are all available. No subscription is needed to join.
The November Trading Post carries a Sweet Tooth theme. Players earn Trader's Tender from activities, and completing the Traveler's Log awards the Hot Motocross Bunmover 4600 mount. Vendors stand outside the Mage District in Stormwind, beside Grommash Hold in Orgrimmar, in Dornogal on the Isle of Dorn and in Silvermoon City. The shop has added the Living Heartsbane Cauldron mount and the Grimtide Estate and Grimtide Decor housing packs.
