World of Warcraft: Forever launches worldwide on November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST, which is 23:00 UTC. In Europe the servers open at 12:00 a.m. CET on November 5. The game is set after Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core, and runs alongside modern and Classic WoW.

The leveling cap is 60. Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor gain more than 1,000 new quests, along with new and reimagined zones: Mount Hyjal, Shen'dralas, the Riverglades and Zephras Isle. The Riverglades alone holds more than 150 new quests. The Skyborne join as a playable race and begin on Zephras Isle, a starting zone for levels 1 through 12. Horde Windshapers can be Shaman. Alliance High-Order Skyborne can be Mages. Other new race and class pairings include Gnome Priests, Dwarf Shamans, Undead Paladins, Orc Mages, Troll Warlocks and Human Hunters.

On first login, players pick an Experience Preset, Classic or Enhanced, before picking a Ruleset. Enhanced turns on HD models, one-bag, transmog and quest objective markers. Classic turns them off. Individual settings can be changed later under Game Menu > Options. Rulesets replace the usual realm selection screen. HD or SD models are chosen per character and can be switched at a Barbershop.
