TheWoWDBThis is the beginning of a new questchain which will be introduced with Patch 5.1. This questchain is for warlocks only and at the end of it they will get a new visual effect to their firespells - green fire, also called fel fire!
Sadly enough the questchain doesn't seem to be complete as of Patch 5.1 so warlocks will have to wait until 5.2 goes live.
Now to this quest: It is given to alliance players from the warlock trainer in the Slaughtered Lamb in Stormwind (Mage Quarter) and wants you to read a tome at the bottom of the crypt the warlocks reside in. This tome tells you the story of the Council of the Black Harvest which consists of six warlocks from different races who taught the 'normal' warlocks new techniques (summon stronger demons, special spells etc.) after the defeat of Deathwing. But the council seems to have a similar destructive goal like Deathwing had before, so it is not safe to trust them.
This is the alliance side of this quest. Horde players will start this questchain in Orgrimmar but both questchains are very similar and lead to another quest where they will be the same questchain.

Bumped to patch 5.2 :(
This quest is incorrectly showing that [npc=3326] starts this quest. [npc=88705] is now the Warlock trainer in Orgrimmar (The Cleft of Shadow) who has replaced [npc=3326]; it is him you speak to about beginning this quest.
He is located at (55,35) in The Cleft of Shadow, see map: Kranosh's Location.
At a glance
